김지은 한양대 교수 한·불 여성과학자 인물사진전 전시 주인공으로 선정

<한·불 여성과학자 인물사진전 '앵피니테 플뤼리엘' 개막>

김지은 한양대학교 교수는 세계여성의 날 기념 ‘한·불 여성과학자 인물사진전 '앵피니테 플뤼리엘' 전시의 주인공으로 선정됐다.

세계 여성의 날(3월 8일)을 맞이하여, 한불의원친선협회 정세균 회장과 성일종 부회장, 국회 여성가족위원회 전혜숙 위원장, 주한 프랑스대사관이 공동으로 대한민국 국회에서 '앵피니테 플뤼리엘' 사진전을 연다.

한국과 프랑스 양국은 모두 과학과 연구 분야에 관심과 투자를 집중하고 있으며, 최근 많은 여성들이 과학계에 진출하고 있다. 그러나 국제적으로 여성이 연구자가 될 확률은 남성에 비해 절반도 채 되지 않는 실정이다. 여전히 남녀차별적 시선이 존재하고 있고 이러한 인식이 전환되기 위해서는 앞으로도 많은 시간과 노력이 필요한 현실이다.

프랑스의 사진작가 ‘마리-엘렌 르 니’의 작품이 전시될 이번 사진전은 프랑스와 한국 양국의 여성과학자들의 인물사진을 소개하는 전시회로 3월 8일(금)부터 3월 24일(일)까지 이어진다.

8일 국회에서 열린 '엥피니테 플뤼리엘(Infinites Plurielles)' 사진전 개막식에서 파비앙 페논 주한프랑스대사(왼쪽부터), 김금옥 전 한국여성단체연합 상임대표, 김지은 한양대학교 교수, 이은형 국민대 경영학부 교수, 문애리 덕성여대 약학대학 교수, 최윤 작가 및 서강대학교 국제인문학부 프랑스문화전공 교수, 정세균 한불 의원친선협회장이 기념촬영을 하고 있다.

Kim Ji-eun, a professor at Hanyang University, was selected as the protagonist of the exhibition 'Infinites Plurielles', a portrait photo exhibition of Korean and French women scientists, commemorating the World Women's Day.

On the occasion of World Women's Day (March 8), President Chung Sye-gyun of the Korean French Friendship Association and Vice chairman Sung Il-jong, Chairwoman Jeon Hye-sook of the National Assembly Women's Family Committee and the French Embassy in Korea jointly hold a photo exhibition of 'Infinites Plurielles' at the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea.

Both Korea and France are concentrating their interest and investment in science and research, and many women are now entering the scientific community. However, the probability of women becoming researchers internationally is less than half that of men. There is still a gender-segregated perspective, and it is a reality that requires a lot of time and effort in order to change this perception.

This exhibition, which will show the works of French photographer Marie-Ellen Renni, is an exhibition introducing portraits of female scientists from both France and Korea, from March 8 (Friday) to March 24 (Sunday).
